The short version
Your details
We’re a home bakery. We ask for the least we can, we use it to bake and hand over your order, and we don’t sell it to anyone.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, and phone number if you give one. If you choose delivery, the address to bring it to. Anything you write in the notes.
- When you ask for something custom: the same, plus what you’d like us to bake.
- Nothing else. No tracking, no advertising pixels, no analytics. The site sets no cookies except the one that keeps the bakery signed in to its own admin area.
Why we need it
To bake the right thing, tell you when it’s ready, and get it to you. That’s the only reason. We email you about your own order, never a newsletter you didn’t ask for.
Who sees it
The baker. Our website host and email service handle the data on our behalf to keep the site running and messages moving. Nobody else, and we never sell or share it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while they’re useful for questions, repeat orders and our own bookkeeping, and no longer than we need them.
Getting it removed
Email mybakersdough@gmail.com and ask. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we’ll do it. You don’t need a reason.
Cakes are perishable
The usual 14-day right to change your mind about an online purchase doesn’t apply to fresh food made to order, because it won’t keep. If something is wrong with your order, tell us and we’ll sort it out.
